Fashion Confidential is a free email newsletter and website dedicated to sharing the ultimate insider fashion news and offers.
What do I get by becoming a member?
When you sign up to Fashion Confidential you can forget the days of trawling through every magazine, newspaper, website, newsletter etc to find out what’s what. We’ll provide you with all the information you need in one easy place so you’ll never put a foot wrong.
Is it really free?
Fashion Confidential is completely FREE. That means no hidden costs or fees. When you become a member you join our club and can take advantage of all of the services without paying a penny.
How many emails will I receive?
We operate on the basis that what makes it into our newsletters is the crème de la crème of news, deals and discounts. If there’s nothing particularly interesting happening we don’t contact you. This means when you receive one of our emails you know it’s worth opening.
If you want a daily fix you can visit our website which contains up to the minute news, recommendations, competitions and exclusive offers.
How do I become a member?
We’d love to welcome you on board. Simply visit the Sign Up page to become a member.
Are you just a London thing?
One of our founders is “From the North” – her words not ours. So she’ll be damned if we were always to focus on London. So we collect information from around the UK and send out newsletters specifically for your area. Just select your nearest city when you register.
If you’re not near a big city do not fret. The majority of our offers are available online so you can snap up a bargain from the comfort of your desk/armchair.
How do you select the items you feature on Fashion Confidential?
We feature products and events on Fashion Confidential because we love them or because you’ve asked for the insider scoop - not because we’ve been paid to feature them or have received a back hander. It may be a great new shop that has just opened, a fabulous new bag, a particularly good sample sale we’ve found out about or a sell out collection which is still available to our members.
Because we are truly independent and not part of a large corporation, we’re not obliged to feature certain products, we don’t have “targets” which influence our decisions.
Each of our members is part of our exclusive club. Our aim is to pass on our inside information as quickly as humanly possible so our members can act before anyone else knows about it. We also negotiate entry to exclusive events, offers and competitions so our members can get great deals which aren’t available elsewhere. It’s all part of the service!
We’ve built Fashion Confidential into what it is today by following this strict editorial policy. We want you to have the utmost faith in us and the information we pass onto you.
We would, however, be lying is we pretended that we could keep Fashion Confidential going on bread and wine alone! As we need to pay our rent we allow some selective advertising on our emails and website. You will ALWAYS know when someone is advertising on Fashion Confidential as it will be labelled as "Dedicated Email". We promise to keep these adverts to a minimum so as not to interfere with normal Fashion Confidential business!
Do you share my details with anyone else?
No, No No. When you sign up to Fashion Confidential we promise to keep all of your personal information confidential. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
Why do you ask for my mobile number?
It is completely optional whether you provide your mobile number. We ask for your mobile number because if we have some urgent information about a category you have chosen which we think you’ll be interested in (such as Chloe trousers reduced to £50) we may text you. We will never phone you.
How do I change my personal details eg. email address and preferences?
Just log into “Your Account” – update your details such as your email address and simply click “submit”. Your details will be automatically updated.
I’ve forgotten my password. How do I get a new one?
Go to “Your Account” and click on the “forgotten your password” link. Enter your email address and you will be sent a new password via email.
I signed up to Fashion Confidential but I haven’t received any emails
Due to the images in our emails some email filters put our emails in a separate folder (eg. hotmail) or do not allow them into your inbox (some company email systems).
If you’ve used a hotmail address to join Fashion Confidential and have not received your welcome email please look in your “junk” email file. If you find an email from Fashion Confidential just click the check box beside it and then click the “not junk” button. By doing this you will make sure that all future emails from Fashion Confidential go straight into your inbox.
Some companies filter out emails containing artwork. If your company or organisation adopts this policy and you joined using your work address you may not receive our emails. If we are aware of this problem we will use a plain text version to keep you up to date.
