A Meredith Melling Burke State of Mind
It's time to confess our long-standing crush on Meredith Melling Burke, US Vogue's Senior Market Editor and glossy girl about town. Not only does she have the perfect baby blonde hair and a penchant for ultra high heels, she is always smiling. For her first time at London Fashion Week she does her own Upper East side take on the laid back London look. Cue a signature stone Burberry trench, boot-cut All-American blue jeans and those triple strap Chanel patent heels that MMB wears with everything from Rag & Bone jeans to ditsy vintage floral dresses. Add a statement feather-like fur shrug and her faithful studded Alexander Wang bag and it's the perfect mix of uptown meets downtown. It must be love.

Cool for cats
Our latest blog crush is all about cutting edge street style shots of hip young things in Milan, Paris, Tokyo, London and New York. Think haughty, nonchalent poses, ultra glossy hair and urban backgrounds galore. No, not the Sartorialist but the Catorialist. It's a tongue-in-cheek parody of Scott Schuman's now infamous fashion blog. Get your claws out, fashion kittens. Meee-ow!

Top marks!
Even though the days of hanging our satchels outside the classroom are well and truly over, there's a distinct back to school vibe in the FC offices this morning as we swot up for the re-launch of the new site. Repeat after me class (clockwise from bottom left) Charlotte's Jas M.B, Elyna's Burberry, Malika's Alexander Wang, Lucie's Anya Hindmarch and Isabel's Marni. Top marks.

South of the River...
My second passion, after shopping, is most definitely food. I swear I could have a 30 minute conversation about the best chickpeas in London! So, off I went to my favourite foodie haunt, Borough Market, on Saturday. Oysters and champers at Wright Brothers was followed by Monmouth coffee (the best ever coffee in my humble opinion) and Konditor & Cook brownies. And of course it would have been rude to leave without the obligatory Brindisa chickpeas…

Latin Lover!
I’ve just been browsing the behind-the-scenes photos of the latest Chanel campaign for SS10. It really caught my attention as I love having a good snoop at what goes into capturing THE perfect shot for the campaign. Plus, it features Claudia – who I just adore. Rather amusingly titled “Latin Lover” it’s defiantly worth a look – just for the sheer beauty of the photos, by Karl Lagerfeld no less.

DIY Fendi
I’ve just been browsing the what’s new on net-a-porter and I came across this – the DIY Fendi Baguette bag – which is pure genius! You get a raffia Baguette bag and multicoloured thread, thimbles and needles and you set to work personalising it as your heart desires. I’ve never really been an arts and crafts kind of girl but this has got me thinking…

Modern Pantry Rocks
Just got back from lunch at The Modern Pantry and it’s now my top spot for lunch in Clerkenwell. There’s a massive refectory style table in the middle of the restaurant with cute cake stands brimming with goodies to tempt you and loads of interesting people reading, chatting and generally people watching. When my crab arrived it was a work-of-art-on-a-plate and so delicious I want more…

Beauty Fix: Real Hair
I love a good product recommendation so in the interest of sharing and caring I’ll spill the beans on my latest beauty fix. After several long hours in centrally heated offices mixed with horrid winter weather my hair needed a little de-fuzzing so a girlfriend (and beauty obsessive) recommended this intense hair mask from Real Hair. Pop it on when you’re in the shower and you’ll look salon perfect for the rest of the week. Result!

People spotting…
One of the best parts of London Fashion Week is watching the high heeled glitterati hobble across the cobbles at Somerset House. And the best vantage point was the Topshop Hot Choc Stop. Armed with an ultra chocolaty hot choc and a Topshop pocket warmer I could have people watched all day.

Spotted…Garance Doré at Matthew Williamson
My “fashion moment” of yesterday has to be when ultra stylie French blogger, Garance Doré, snapped the FC Fashion Week reporters outside the Matthew Williamson show.
On a separate note I just can’t stop staring at Garance’s boots. I have serious shoe envy!

Date for the Diary
The Little Black Gallery has the coolest exhibition on at the moment to coincide with London Fashion Week. As you may have realised by now, I’m a massive fan of fashion photography and the show has an amazing selection of legendary British photographers such as Terence Donavan, Norman Parkinson and Patrick Lichfield. My personal favourite has to be the Lichfield shot of Paul and Talitha Getty. It’s boho at its best.

It's a dogs life...
I just had to share this with you. Our office pet, Peeky the King Charles spaniel, resting on our sofa – is just too cute for words. Apparently, she’s chilling out before the onslaught of London Fashion Week. Ahhh, the life of a “fashion dog”!
